Creating Rooms in Office 365 Exchange Online and Add To Rooms List

The title above is quite long, but exactly to the point – I found myself unsure how to add a resource room in Office 365 for Exchange online because it was set up by previous employees and hadn’t been done since then. Then I needed to add it to the Rooms List. I will walk you through my process of how I created a room and added it to a room list. This was also done in a hybrid environment (Exchange Online and Exchange 2013).

Create User Account

The first step is to create a regular AD user account. I created it in Active Directory User and Computers. You will not need to know the password, so set it to something crazy long and forget it. SharePoint: Error When adding Apps

Everything is fine, but we had a small problem getting your license. Please go back to the SharePoint Store to get this app again and you won't be charged for it.

I was working in SharePoint, and I kept getting the same error every time I tried to add an app on our on-premises SharePoint 2013. I thought it may have been something with our server, so I tried it on my SharePoint Online account too and got the same error:

Microsoft kills Internet Explorer 8, 9 and 10

Despite so much of the internet still using Internet Explorer 8, 9, and 10, Microsoft decides to pull the plug on the old outdated versions to help push people to use IE 11 and Microsoft Edge. They where ridden with many security holes, bugs, and not supported by many updated sites. However, there are some sites, such as government and company sites, that relied on the older versions to work – even if you enable compatibility view.

It has been a long time coming that Microsoft has wanted to pull the plug due to so many problems found with the older versions. But will the 17.3% [1] that is still running on those three version upgrade since they have been warned for so long about the security holes?

Interesting Fact: .65% [1] of the internet is still using Internet Explorer 6.0, despite its last update being released in April 2008 and it only running in Windows XP!
